Our Philosophy
We believe that:
The struggle for freedom is primarily a struggle for space: Physical, discursive and social.
Democracy does not start nor end in the ballot box. For the democratic process to be meaningful and effective, freedom of expression, diversity, dialogue and acceptance of the ‘other’ must be experienced as a lived reality on all levels and in all contexts.
The performing arts are inherently diverse and inclusive and as such can be an indispensable tool for opening up avenues of dialogue.
